I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and didn't expand those stretch pants to much!!. It was great seeing and talking to numerous owner's at our annual owner's meeting. There was a beneficial exchange of ideas/suggestions, which will be taken under consideration by the board, as long as we can remain within our budget guidelines. Speaking of the budget, if you haven't heard, the 2017 maint. fee will remain the same as 2016. The installation of WIFI in all the units will begin in Jan. In addition, for those owner;s, who qualify, the Reverse Deed program and the Amnesty Program are now in effect. Contact Lou DelRosso, in Financial Services for additional information. SCAM ALERT: We have been made aware that several different companies have been contacting our members and pretending to represent either Interval International or Split Rock and Mountain Laurel Resorts. These people invite Timeshare owners to an “informational” meeting, usually at a hotel in your area. The pitch is that your plan or resort will no longer work properly and these companies claim they will get you out of your timeshare membership, for a fee. These companies can charge anywhere from $5,000 to as much as $12,000 or more. In most cases these companies do nothing except take your money, and you will continue to own, and be responsible for, your timeshare. These scammers are also using the Internet to prey on Timeshare owners. If you are contacted by one of these companies, or attend one of their presentations, please contact our Financial Services Department at 800-811-0405 before signing any paperwork or paying any fee.
It's hard to believe that December is upon us already. Ski season has officially begun at Big Boulder on a limited schedule currently. We here in Owner Services are busy making reservations and banking weeks. Again, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately if you have not done anything with your 2016 week before it's too late.
Keep in mind that we start taking reservations 180 days (6 months) in advance so we are already reserving for June 2017. As long as your maintenance fees are paid for 2017 you can lock in your dates now.
